Internet Librarian 2007The Internet Librarian 2007 Conference (www.infotoday.com/il2007/) in Monterey last month attracted over 1,600 attendees including the most innovative thinkers and doers in the library profession. Among the speakers this year, Eloisa Gomez Borah of the Rosenfeld Management Library and her software-development partner Tim Carlson of the Anderson Computing & Information Services at the UCLA Anderson School. Their presentation, "Living Larger: Taking Your Killer App Beyond Libraries" outlined how the Q&A management software initially developed for their eLibrarian service in the library was re-branded to ASKME Manager after eight other non-library program offices in the Anderson School adapted it for their own Q&A needs. Their session was a 1st or 2nd choice (of four tracks) mentioned in conference wiki pages by speakers and participants, and the conference convener, Jane Dysart's own conference blog singled out their session to check out (www.dysartjones.com/blog_archives/2007_09_01_archive.shtml).
