Fall Book Sale
The Library Staff Association would like to invite you to the 2007 Fall Book Sale. It will take place Wednesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 15 from 9:00am to 3:30pm on the patio in back of the Powell Library.
There will be many great deals including "Books by the Foot" & "Books by the Bag." There will be fiction, non-fiction, foreign language, romance, historical, paperbacks, hardbacks and more. Come by early and often to take advantage of the selection.
We are looking for volunteers for sorting, and for the book sale itself. If you are interested, please contact either Dan Palodichuk (dpalodic@library.ucla.edu) or myself (sexton@law.ucla.edu).

New PRIMO Site of the Month
The September PRIMO site of the month interview is now available at: www.ala.org/ala/acrlbucket/is/iscommittees/webpages/emergingtech/site/index.cfm.
The site is titled "Citing Your Sources: APA and MLA Styles," and was created by Ielleen R. Miller and Jonathan D. Grubb of Eastern Washington University.
Immersion Comes to a University Near You
The Institute for Information Literacy will be holding Immersion ’08 at UCSD from July 27 to August 1, 2008. The deadline for applications is December 3, 2007. New for this year is a third track. This session was previously offered as a stand alone program entitled "The Intentional Teacher: Renewal through Informed Reflection."
