Interlibrary Loan & Document delivery Advisory Committee (ILDAC)

Responsible for formulating and recommending interlibrary loan and document delivery services, policies, and practices. Advises AUL for Research & Instructional Services and Director of Business & Enterprise Services on interlibrary loan and document delivery operations, including new or expanded services, new technology to improve delivery of items to users, and changes to fee structures. Responsible for testing periodic new releases of consortial borrowing software and changes to Voyager circulation client and OPAC functionality that impact interlibrary loan and document delivery procedures. Arranges training for staff. Advises on the allocation of intercampus, contractual, and document delivery funds. Maintains contact with appropriate UC and UCLA advisory committees and contractual clients on issues of mutual interest.
