Digital Collections Services (DCS) plans and delivers digital collections services for the selection, acquisition, licensing, access and ongoing management of digital collections for the UCLA community. DCS will build and establish a library-wide infrastructure for the negotiation and licensing of digital resources, develop strategic directions for the scholarly communications programs, including overseeing development of the e-scholarship repository program, developing outreach to faculty related to intellectual property, coordinating, advising and advocating on key legal and policy issues affecting libraries, archives and cultural memory institutions.
This website provides information and resources to aid UCLA Library staff in carrying out their responsibilities in connection with management of digital collections.
