Library & UCLA Financial Structure

Library Business Services offers a wide array of assistance with financial and other business matters within the UCLA Library system. These services include:

  • Budget allocation and assistance with the management of Library financial activity (state funds, income funds, contract & grants, expense transactions and fund transfers from the UCLA Foundation for with gift and endowment activities)
  • Management of the Library's book fund accounting system.
  • Assistance with income generating activities, deposits and reporting requirements (annual budget submissions to the UCLA Office of Academic Planning and Budget, when needed).
  • Oversight of the Library's centralized cash room operations.
  • Purchasing activities
  • Travel reimbursements and policy guidance
  • Student Payroll (including assistance with transactions in the UC_Punch Payroll system and resulting ledger activity)
  • Library Building Services
  • Library Express (mail room and delivery activities)
